Multiple mail orders?

I have been placing only one mail order at a time, thinking that if the delivery was noticed and seized, the box will be flagged and observed for further such packages.

Is this a realistic assumption?

Just get multiple P.O. Boxes, and "split up" the deliveries to each box. After you have a couple of orders go to a box, give it a break for a while. Continually use of a box in receiving international packages might set off red flags at Customs about possible trafficking.

Thanks for the tip, Hulkster. I only order for myself, but even then I don't like trying to obtain all my products in one order...

On a side note, to generate general box traffic I sign up for all kinds of free brochures, just to get the junk mail flowing into the box. If nothing else, it may ease the mind of MBE, er, UPS, employees.

Speaking of, anyone have any comments on the UPS buy-up of MBE? Is this a good thing, bad, no effect?

Bad thing. UPS, unlike USPS, doesn't need a search warrant to rip open your package. UPS doesn't even have to a petty reason. If you read their policy guidelines, they can open a package to ensure that it was securely packed, if something is leaking, general suspicion, etc. UPS, on average, also costs more money than similar delivery options available from the USPS. I would stay away from UPS, FEDEX, etc. and just stick to USPS.

As a general rule... if a package is seized... your addy will be flagged. So, you'd never want to have things sent to that address again... unless, I mean... it's just normal stuff (non-AAS).

Hulkster is about right on his UPS/FedEx thing... I can't remember which one it is, but one of them actually SCAN the packages... now, I don't think they are scanning for AAS... nor if they found it, they would necessiarly TEAR it open... perhaps with vials... or amps... but doubtful for tabs.

Now I'm a little confused. The change from MBE to UPS: does this necessarily mean that UPS will begin to enforce their inspection regiment on all mail incoming to their newly acquired boxes? Because regular mail (by regular I mean non-UPS such as USPS, etc.) can still be delivered to the box.

Am I confusing the issue enough yet? :D Another way of looking at it: is there a distinction between their DELIVERY service and their new MAILBOX serivce? Will UPS now begin searching packages going to the mailboxes in the same way as their delivered packages, even if they aren't the carrier to the box itself?
