Edit: I know its called anavar, my phone changed it to varnar for some reason.
I want to start of by saying im a 20 year old, I heard varnar is one of the safest steroids to use. I lost a lot of muscle and gained fat due to an accident I had about a year ago. I stard running and lifting here and there but nothing serious.

My questions:

How safe is var? I heard something about it causing permanent damage to your hdl levels?
How much would I take daily?
My stats:
Male
5'8
171lbs
18% body fat.

Im driving out to tj tomorrow to get a bottle. How do I know its real?

Thanks in advance guys

Well, I can tell you at 20 that no one will offer steroid advice, as the rules are you have to be 21. At your age, you have the best thing going for you already though, natural testosterone! Hard work, a clean diet, and a good creatine supplement like Ancient Strength from Needtobuildmuscle are a solid foundation.

Also, at 18% b/f I wouldn't recommend steroids or pro-hormones. That needs to drop to 12-14% or less. Good luck in whatever avenue you choose.

^ I also heard it might help me gain an inch or two. I know theres a super small chamce of it being real, but im willing to take it since im short.

Sorry to say it, but at 20 you are pretty well done growing as far as height is concerned. There are rare cases of late growth spurts, but it's in less than 1% of the population (from the little research I just did).

Also, I have never heard or read anything about Anavar causing someone to grow in height. I might be wrong, but I can't find any evidence to support growth.

If your main goal is muscle - How about you take that "nothing serious" to a serious level of weight lifting and I bet you will get the results you need without any anavar. You are still young to produce excellent results. I'd recommend a serious training routine, some supplements from NeedToBuildMuscle.com and get your diet in check. That will give you a nice solid foundation, allow you to get your strength back and lose any extra weight you gained. Once you start back into serious mode your muscle memory will kick in and you will be back in no time. Especially at your age. I know this isn't probably what you want to hear and will do what you have planned to do anyway...But at least I wanted to give you some solid advice before you decide.

You need to be taking it serious for quite some time before jumping on AAS.
