Mudder Competition

Has anyone here done a mudder? I am looking to do my first one this spring. I am looking for training suggestions....

a buddy of mine did it. he has really been focusing on doing a lot of tempo running and crossfit type training. its a lot of fun, most of the people there are not serious, but there is a pool of very serious guys.
