I don't think he was being sarcastic, but I don't see how that applies to what he said either.

Yes, Black Hawk Down covered the crisis in Somalia, but the news article from MTV is about the current issues in the Sudan. Somalia was just an attempt at saving human rights... nothing more. The Sudan has oil... which is actually worth something to our government. Moving a military force into the Sudan is in their best interests... <sarcastic voice on> who cares about our soldiers' safety? THAT OIL MEANS MONEY! <sarcastic voice off>

Personally, I don't turn to MTV for my political news.

Have you seen 4,5,6 "special edition"? They made way to many changes. Far as Im concerned they should have just cleaned up the special effects. The scene they added with Jabba in #4 is just freaking ridiculous.
And the song and dance routine they changed in #6 in Jabbas lair is just fucked.
