no shit bro!
Most docs know shit of how to actually treat a bb and don't give a shit to learn or update old school methods that don't work.

I really appreciate all advice and will look in prolo my friends in iron.

For the mean time, I am not lifting upper body and doing ROM exercises, spider crawl on wall, ect.

Hey, I would have loved to have given something like Prolo therapy a try but when there's only 1 listed doc in the whole state who's licensed to practice it (at least in mine) you accept it & move on to plan B (surgery). Believe me, I did look into it. According to the Prolo website, if you don't live in Cali, Florida or Texas, you're shit outta luck. Most states have either only one physican listed or none at all. That's been my point all along.
Dont let the fact there are none listed on that site be the deciding factor. Not all prolo docs are listed there. Most prolodocs are actually very friendly and eager to help. If you send some e-mails and make a few calls one of them listed may know of someone in your area that isnt listed. Also some of them do travel occassionally to other areas a couple days a month or whatnot.

zygla... now that i've given your treatment a try... when are you going to start getting some ART? :)
Fortunatly I dont think im suffering from anything ART will be helpfull for. I have planar fasceitis(sp?) in my left foot which is a condition where the heel bone drops down and causes pressure on the bottom of foot making it painfull, its often diagnosed as a heel spur and people go under the knife to get bone removed. I have had 2 treatments on it so far and its about 50% improved. I do have some mid back tenderness likely due to poor posture sitting in front of a computer and the fact I have one leg longer than the other. Im getting it treated with prolo as well and the constant tense muscles are loosening up nicely howevery ART may be an option for it. I am always interested in getting the problem fixed, do you know of a directory of ART docs? I checked a while back before having prolo but had little luck locating a provider in my area.

sure... www.activerelease.com there is a function on the site that lets you search for a doctor.

i don't know how much prolo is costing you, but if its significant, you might want to consider trying ART on a few problems first. because you believe in actually solving the problem, i know you will appreciate this: you have to consider that many times, a problem in the area of a ligament or tendon is often not a problem with the connective tissue itself, but is a product of chronic tightness from adhesions and scar tissue in the muscle, which prolo does nothing to solve.

for example, i've had a problem with severe elbow tendinitis in the past. while prolo certainly would have helped by strengthening the tendon, there was nothing actually wrong with the tendon in the first place. the problem was caused by the shortening of the tricep seen in conjunction with the tightness and adhesions.

an even better example is my left knee. the patellar pain in that knee was so agonizing that i literally could not drive more than 20 minutes without stoping to walk around because my knee was so painful and locked. now, prolo could have helped with the pain, but again, the problem wasn't even the patellar tendon. deep hip flexor muscles on my left side were gnarled and pulling on everything down my leg and into my knee. ART totally solved the problem, and prevented other potential problems by dealing with the source of the pain (hip flexor).

anyway... i am a big believer in the science behind prolo and have great hopes for it. just wanted to point out that in some cases it may be worth checking into ART first.
