Movies that had potential.... but sucked ass.

Oceans twelve is another good one. I expected way more. It was terrible. Oceans 11 was far and away better.

I agree with the "Signs" on the water aspect. that was just gay.

But shindlers list? That movie was fantastic.

But so far Va helsing is the winner for most potential for a shitty outcome.

"closer"

with julia roberts and jude law, two of the prettiest and best actors of their generation in the lead....how could it go wrong?

yet somehow, it did.

Waterworld.
Star wars III, although it didnt suck ass but had potential for more.

Even though I liked Waterword especially the stunt show at universal studios I agree it could have been better.

The Aviator - Howard Hughes was such a complex man. A 3 hour Hollywood film isn't enough for someone like him (the first 1.5 hours was okay; the ending was horrible) However, the movie did spark an interest in me to learn more about his life; I have to locate a book about him.

I had a question about that movie too. Did he make money on Hell's Angels? If yes, how much?

I don't remember. I was in awe with his Obsessive Compulsive Disorder and ownership of TWA (struggle against Pan Am and Congress).
