Actually the movie was decent, but not as good as the actual events and such. This croc has killed over 300 people.
Apparently, he is still alive and killing people.

(^^ interesting read. Crocs can stop the production of their stomach acid and thereby take a full year to digest a meal. They won't need any other food during that time)
According to the National Geographic site (linked below) the most recent sighting was in April of 2007, when he jumped out of the water and grabbed a 13 year old tourist off a tour boat.
Now can someone please tell me WHY this croc hasn't been killed yet? He has been tracked, observed sunning himself on land, etc... why hasn't someone taken a bazooka and smoked this fool?
