Motorcycle Risk?

Heres my situation: Acouple of years ago I broke my Femer and now I have a rod in my bone (threw the whole femer).

Now I wanna ride but theres a risk that if I fall I could break my femer again and the consequences of breaking the bone with the rod in there could be extremely severe.

So I've been contiplating my decisions here, I could ride and chances are I wouldn't fall, but if I did I could be fuck (so to speak).

Now I know I have to make my decision myself, but I'd like to hear some feedback from you people, about what you (if in my place) would do.

Hmmm.....

A biker is something you either are or are not.

Self-injury comes with the game. I could understand giving it up for thinks like kids you have to raise, but for self-health concerns, you either love it enough to not care to stop or you don't care enough to just give it up.

YOU CAN BREAK YOUR FEMUR AGAIN IN YOUR CAR ALSO.

This is true....I was just asking what others would do. I know I'll make my own choice anyways.

I was just wondering about if you would have the balls to risk it with a metal rod in your leg.

I would have your leg amputated so you don't have to worry about breaking anything. Then you will be able to ride all you want.

I would definitely ride.
I seriously injured my shoulder in a motorcycle accident two years ago. After that injury, I rode my bike as soon as I was able to.
Recently I re-injured the same shoulder in a skiing misshap...
I skied after sustaining the injury and I am planning to ride my bike this season.

If you are unsure, then your fear may cause you to screw up on your bike, or it may render you a more conscientious rider. You know yourself best.
