hey Manny, that civic in your sig is almost the same color as our civic. ours is a bit deeper red though. i didn't buy it, her grandmother bought it for her. lil gerbil powered coupe gets almost 33mpg with me beating the shit out of it, or taking highway trips holding it steady at 85mph, even with the AC on. even had it up to 110 or 115 once with some engine to spare.

not my daily driver, but i snag it when i have to make the almost 3 hour drive down to my grandmother's area. and it's not (and NEVER will be) riced out, cept the JDM black headlights that look 10x better than stock. (had to replace the ones that got smashed out when i had a "little accident" with a blazer)

good car to have in these times of high gas prices though.

As long as you dont spend like 20k$ on your Civic, that's ok. As a low cost car, the Civic wouldnt be my first choice (I'd go for a Corolla or Mazda3) but I understand why people buy a Civic to get A to B. Now I dont get kids putting turbos, 1000$ Borla exhausts, p-flow, stupid ass spoilers and other ridiculous item on a low budget car. Instead of spending such money on a Civic I'd rather get an Infiniti G35...

Are your headlights xenon type ?

i hear ya on the waste of cash done to a civic. hers is a 96, got it last year for $8k, which was bluebook. headlights aren't xenon, just the regular ones (can't remember the damn name for the life of me). brand new stock headlights would've run i think $120 or $150 EACH. i got the JDM lights, used on ebay, for less than the price of one stock one...shipped.

i've said before i wouldn't mind having a mid-late 90s civic hatchback to beef up. it'd get a JDM engine put into it though, competely worked out (naturally aspirated though, no NOS or turbo), with the quietest exhaust i could put on it yet still deliver power. i'd keep it looking bone stock too. that'd be a nice sleeper to fuck with the fart cannon ricer boys
