one of my favorite songs of all time is also one of the most depressing: "don't give up" by peter gabriel. for those of us who are old enough to remember the 80s "So" was one of the best albums of the decade.

tears for fears were a big 80s band. they were part of the early days of MTV. "mad world" was one of their big hits. this cover version is very sparse and slower than the original. sorry nordstom, but i did not know what to do with your link.
