Morning Cardio

hey, i was just wondering.. i do my cardio in the morning in an empty stomach (5g glut, 5g bcaas, 5g eaas b4 cardio)... i drink a 30g protein shake with water right after my cardio.. sound good? or should i wait a bit after? im doin a 80/20 fat/carb split which works out to be about 100g fat and 60g carbs per day so i take the carbs after my afternoon workout and fat with every meal expcept after morning cardio and before bed (just casein pp)
any crituqes/suggestions would be greatly appreciated..thx
 
i don't think it matters..you want the most efficient uptake of nutrients when you take your supps, so you want something like dex/wms to shuttle that goodness rapidly. i don't bother with a "post workout" type meal after my cardio.. then again I do morning cardio like 3-4 times a week, I do pre-wo cardio 20 min HIIT before my lifting every day..I take in 300-400g of protein split up over 6-8 meals..body uses it as it needs and i figure its as efficient as possible despite my workout routine..

Damn now that I think about it, I was getting leaner walking for 30 minutes post workout...lol..im hooked on HIIT on tren though.. I love the boom boom, zip feeling..

I'm a big fan of this concept. I get to the gym around 5:45am B4 work and hit cardio. Glutamine and BCAA's B4 and BCAA's after. Then I have some protien and hit the weights. I know a lot of bros will say to do weight training after a few meals but this is working well for me
 
awesome thx alot... im all natural right now so im just gonna stick with morning cardio 3x per week and post workout cardio 2x per week.. thx for the input
 
Right after you wake up in the morning there is a greater amount of free fatty acids available in your bloodstream which is what you are using as energy to fuel your cardio. Thing is, you really have to make sure that it is low to moderate intensity cardio.

I actually have to take in one scoop protein and about 10-15 grams of carbs one hour before my outdoor run in the AM because i am usually in the 80% of my max VO2 which is considered high intensity. It wouldn't really be productive for me to go out on an empty stomach.

sounds like you have some math going on, what makes you do it this way?
