Morning Cardio

Hey all I got a quick question regarding cardio in the morning. I am on the zig zag diet at the moment and am taking Gut Cutter before workouts and was wondering on your alls thoughts on cardio. Ive always heard its better to do it on an empty stomach if you are wanting to burn fat, but I got a Triatholon Class on MWF, followed by an abs class, then work out (so I get like 3 hours of workingout 3 days a week), and find that I don't have enough energy if I dont' eat before the first class. Will this effect my weight loss goals? Also I work out primarily to maintian my muscle mass, not bulk up.
