Morning Body Temperature

Do any of you guys monitor your body temperature upon waking? How do you take this into account when cutting? (ie: Is a one degree drop in body temp ok, where a 3 degree drop signifies a metabolic slow down?) Just wondering what the rules are...

thanks

Go to the drug store and buy the special thermometer they sell for determing menstraul cycles - it is called a basal temperature thermometer or something.

They come with instructions...

How many carbs do you need and for how long to bring your metabolism up. For instance if you have been dieting for 3 weeks with 150 carbs a day.

I use an anal thermometer for measuring my temp. Far best means at finding exact body temp. Regular thermometers are for pussies. I use the same one that they use on my dog when he goes to get shots. You can by one at a vetanarian for 9.99 I believe.

armpit thermometers read about 1 degree less than oral thermometers.

and dr0832 is COMPLETELY wrong. oral temperature readings give accurate results if measured correctly.

I guess what's important is NOT the temperature on its own but rather its variation along the time (not sure I'm clear :D )

that's just wrong. :D

what are you, 4 yrs old?

j/k bro :)

my temperature has dropped about 3 degrees during sleep, but it climbs back up to the proper level (or even higher) later in the day (between 37.0-37.4 degrees celcius)

so is body temperature a pretty acurate measure as to ones metabolism?

say - 98.9 is the "average"

if your above or below you have high/slow metabolism?
