Well they told him to marry this girl. He didn't know this heifer from nothing til the church told him to marry her. I was just saying its a joke. Period. He was in Mississippi and she was in Ohio I think.... So they had never met, didn't know each other. The religion is silly. All I was saying.

The church didn't force him to marry anyone. A local leader may have suggested he date and get to know this girl and see if it works out. He made the choice himself in the end.

There is no arranged marriage program in the church, which is what your post seems to imply, and then you say it's silly because of it, which is an opinion that appears to be placed over a misconception or misunderstanding.

Again, and let me be more specific and clear, the lamanites were absolutely not of African ethnicity. In fact, they are specifically recognized as the ancestors to the native american indian people.

The dark skinned people in the Book of Mormon have absolutely zero ties to the african blacks, so you tying yourself to this and riding the "wagon of the oppressed" has absolutely no valid reason because you are of african decent, which has nothing to do with any group of people talked about in the BoM in even the slightest degree.

The "white" people in the BoM were descendant of Mennasse (great grandson of Abraham) who was a middle eastern hebrew, who had fairly "dark skin" compared to pale-skinned whitey from northern europe. So, with that, dark skinned from the perspective of a middle eastern jew being the "white person" then dark skinned is fairly dark like a native indian.

Okay, okay, god is awesome and loves everyone. So sometimes god curses people he loves because there is no one that he dislikes even those he associates with the devil in the BoM.

Let's go even further.

I thought we weren't gonna do the whole "perspective" and "interpretation" thing when it comes to the BoM like the bible thumpers do. This is most accurate truth on the planet and the LITERAL word of god. Thats key that sets this new book of god from the primitive ancient bible.

But, of course there are different types of dark skin and God only darkened skin color to indian dark. I have not come across other passages in the BoM to account for other dark skinned types so would be helpful if you can post some. The only other explanation I can think of to address those other "dark skinned" people you mentioned is God must not know that there are people darker than Indian dark. By your logic, how do you suppose that DT and I came to be on Earth?

Another question, do you believe God will look upon you harshly if one questions the punishment God dealt to those dark skinned Indians?

Im not sure where you think I am going. I have addressed pretty much every post you have in this thread while I have quoted god's words and you have selectively replied to certain scripture I posted while ignoring the other 90% of mormon stuff in this thread.
