I hate it more than the job I had for 25 years before I retired. I hate rain more than I hated my abusive father (who disinherited me) and who moved downstairs after he died two years ago. I hate rain more than anything and everything. In fact, I hate it with an intensity of ten to the one-hundred power more than I hate everything else evil combined!
If I was in a bar like the one in that old TWC ad where the patrons of the bar was bullying the guy who came in soaking wet and said "I hate rain," I'd kick the butts of those rainsymps right out into the rainstorm they say they love so much!
I should change my name to RIESFH (meaning "Rain Is Evil Sxxx from Hell!") I wish the USA had a big area as dry as the Sahara or the Atacama so I could move there. If I had life to start over again, I'd at least go for the Mojave or Death Valley.
I was hoping that global warming was really going to come and give us warmer and drier weather. It's a shame just the opposite is happening here.
Now does anyone here get the idea that I might not be happy with all the wet weather we've had and the fact that fronts have been stalling over the mid-Atlantic states over the last nine months allowing an endless number of evil lows to travel here -- pulling in the smelly, damp, and cold air off the Atlantic Ocean; and prove to us once and for all that hell is not hot and dry, but rather cold and wet!

In the Wash DC area, out of 24 weekends, it has rained 19 of them... So basically i've been renting alot of movies and doing jack on weekends, since it rains so much.....Last Thursday rained 4 inches from 4pm - 8pm..... All i could do is look outside and see how clean my car is from the rain.

....more rainall I have to say is, rafting on the delaware this year should be insane from all the mountain snow and rain......

Over in Jersey we look forward to summer too much, which has me contemplating a move in the near future. We have been getting rain, rain and more rain. When it clears up we don't even get the sun its like a horrible depressing grey. Can't wait to see what a blue sky looks like again...

I too live in the south and we have only had a day or two that it got out of the 80's. It rains here every morning and afternoon. Then it is so humid you can't breath. But at least the temp is not in the high 90's like it usually is at this time of year here. I'd like to complain about the rain but if it keeps us out of the 90's and 100's I'll take it.p0ink said:

The weather has been the same here (Tennessee) as everywhere else, however this weekend is suppose to be nothing but sunshine!
