About a month ago, I special ordered two new exterior doors from Home Depot to replace the current front door and back basement door. The front door is normal sized, while the back basement door is an odd sized and had to be cut accordingly.
When the doors arrived, my contractor who did the original renovations, came over to install the back basement door. When he went to install it, he noticed that they constructed it in the wrong size.
We both go back to Home Depot, and return the door and then realized that Home Depot had ordered the right size, but the manufacturer screwed up a perfectly fine door.
My contractor suggested I get a good wooden door, have it cut to size, primer it, and then he would hang it.
After it was all said and done, I wanted to hang everybody from the manufacturer to my contractor.
Now I have a back basement door I don't really want (it's not the same style as the front door), and at some point, I'll have to replace it again anyway to match up with the rest of the house.
