More cat troubles....

I'm sure everyone knows about my old cat & her probs....

Well, my youngest kitty (she's 10), the one in my catvatar, looked like she was losing weight & needed her shots, so I took her to the vet yesterday. After paying a $275 bill -- the blood workup alone was $133 -- I get a call today that she has hyperthyroid disease and 1) needs med 2x a day forever or 2) I can have her get radiation therapy that's $1200.00 and she'll probably glow in the dark.......

The meds for her were $55......

My poor baby girl.....

Well, now I've got a pisser, a hisser and a glow-in-the dark cat......

So one is an indoor kitty & one's an outdoor kitty??

I can imagine -- the older kitty doesn't like his/her territory usurped!!

Jen, I sypathize with your problem, we found out that our 15 year old Australian Shephard has some sort of cancer. His hind legs just don't work that well anymore. As dad put it, it is like finding out one of your children has medical problems, especially after 15 years.
