Moral dilemma....need advice

Well yesterday I ALSO receive a check in the mail for the price of the repair. ($140).

It's obviously a mess up on their end. Now I am an honest person so I want to return the check, but at the same time
I AM NOT calling Microsoft, waiting 20 minutes on hold only to speak to Mohammadizabedeb and then get transfered a half dozen times. I get very angry having to call customer support.

What do I do?



Easy....simply hold the check

I thought about that, but what if it doesn't show up in their sysytem as cashed?

Say they already alloted for the money being spent. They may never update their records as having the money back unless I return it.

It may actually show that I still have the check even though I never cashed it. That's just as bad.
 
if i were you i'd take the money and buy some really nice platform shoes.

lol u still have to pay base rate, sorry. 50% goes to puddlemonkey. :(
