Mood Swings..

I am in a new relationship, and although I attend the gym regularly...my boyfriend is bodybuilding with the use of steroids. My question is this.....how the hell do I put up with his mood swings? He's not very open with me, and I don't know how to deal with his swings. Any suggestions???? PLEASE!!!

when i was on the juice, i felt i was even more calm and worried about training and eatin

if u ask me Roid rage is bullshiy (expect cheque drops) and ppl go nuts on juice and just blame it on the steroids....

look some studies done ,.....i think it has been proven false

he is very agressive from the hormone shift, its not his own fault, its hard he has to realize that his actions upset ya... or unless you are a drama queen then you are the blame

this will be a good discussion

from personal experience, i dont get roid rage, when im on the gear i genuinely become a nicer person, always with a good feeling - strange !?!. mates of mine (not naturally agressive) become very moody - the slightest thing can set them off.

Just be patient with him. My old lady didn't know how to handle it at first either. But now she knows that it is just the hormone inbalance causing the mood swings. And a little sex now and then usually calms me down, so.....

If we looked at his cycle we could maybe find a flaw that is making his mood swings worse. Get him some p-7 as well.

i dont knwo how false it realy is. i definatley have good days and bad. could be from the efedrine though. somedays i am ontop of the world some days i am kind of irratable, but i am never a asshole or out of control. i think if your a asshole before aas your a asshole on aas. but for the most part i am on top of the world. i am prone to mild depression so i can undersrtand the sadness for myslef at times b ut i am also very energetic and happy for the most part so it amplifies it a little too.

Roid rage as in "uncontrollable fits of rage" is a myth. That isn't to say that steroids do not cause mood swings. They absolutely can. Anytime you monkey with your hormone balances, it is likely to affect your mood. Just think of PMS.......

I definitely have mood swings but I know what is causing them and I exert a little self control. I have a flash of irritation at my wife or son and I just pause, grit my teeth and smile at them; there, all done. No one even has to know I was irritated. Of course, god help the poor fool that REALLY pisses me off, LOL.

Anyway, since I started controlling that fleeting feeling of irritation, my home life has been 1000% better and I feel better too.

Have a talk with your BF and explain it to him in that way. If he is a mature person with an ounce of willpower, he can control it. If he can't, you don't need someone like that anyway.

Step 1 - bring it to his attention (be calm about it).

Step 2 - ask him if he can perhaps step back and try to control his mood swings a little bit more; tell him you know that it might be the hormone shift which is causing them, and that you understand... say you can work through it together.

Step 3 - if he pulls a snap-show on you, don't put up with his bullshit. If he can't control himself, and it makes you feel unsafe or uncomfortable, don't stick around. Let him think about what he's willing to lose for his lack of self-control.

this is so typical. if your relationship is new then how do know that steroids have anything at all to do with his "mood swings." maybe he's just a moody bastard to begin with. or maybe it's you.

"Ever since you started (fill in random watershed event here), you've (fill in random behavior she doesn't like here).

Example (1):
"Ever since you started hanging out with Joe you've been partying too much."

Example (2):
"Ever since football season started you've been ignoring me."

JUST GIVE HIM SOME ANAL SEX AND CUMSHOTS , HE´LL BE HAPY WITH THAT
Would someone just ban this asshole? All he does is stirr up shit; he never contributes anything positive to the board.

Everyone hit him up with bad karma so we can get him gone.

That is by FAR the best advice in this thread.

I'm usually calmer and happier while on. But if I take ephedrine then I get real moody and feel like I have bipolar disorder. So epherine may be to blame if he is taking it.
