Montreal

since its winter u think we could find something in the city?
are hte streets kept reasonably clear of snow and ice? if not, u will hear about 2 texans wrecking their cars every single day
i have not even seen snow, much less driven in it
dread lord has a bit of experience, but nothing to compare ..

Yes the snow on the streets is taken care of quite nicely.

no problem. We are equiped for this. Plus its not like it used to be 10 - 15 years ago when we had over 50 cm of snow in a week and it was snowing from november till march non-stop......

If you are looking for an appartment then get a move on it. We are having a shortage of places lately so u probably will need a few weeks to come up with a decent place. Like manny said...July 4th is national moving day in Canada but u need to secure the lease way before that.
When u think u found a place let us know and we'll tell u if it's a good location or not.
Good luck :)

thx musulp.

by the way, if u guys have any good links about montreal itself or any suggested places to live, plz pass them on
of course i have been lookihng alerady, but inside information is always a good thing :)

I'm not complaining...winter's like this are so easy to get through!!

I know an appartment open in near Westmount, cote des neiges

See I met that McGill girl from NH and she now going home ( :( YEAAAAAAH )
her appartment is open of what I heard, nice place tho.
Near the FMR barracks.

Two Texans in Con U, BWAHAHAHAHAHAHAAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

This will be funny, watch out for those Al Gaeda members there,
actually there 4 of them there.

As for snow, after a good winter you will get used to it, np for that.
only thing that might drive you crazy is the parking around Concordia tho.
