If funds are low then go to the supps store and buy a 5-10lbs thing of Optimum Nutrition 100% Whey. It's cheap and should last a while. Also go to a bulk meat store (Don't know if they have a Costco where you like) and buy those big bags of chicken and fish. Tuna is cheap as well and all these are great sources of protein. eggs, brown rice are also cost effective foods that are good for bulking.
