There was a thread moved from the Diet board to the "Best of Elite" board. It was titled, "The Ultimate Diet for Getting Ripped while Maintaining Muscle."

That thread is 31 pages long and has over 22,000 views. Many non-platinum members contributed to it and are on the diet, now they can't view it.

Can someone move it back? or put a copy back on the Diet board please?

Ok I've kept my mouth shut on the whole plaitnum thing but for the people that are bitching about not being able to afford $11.97 per month just to afford their juicing habit is just wrong. I think you people really need to re-evaluate your priorities in life. I've never done a cycle yet and I don't know if I will be able to keep up with the contribution due to my debt but I have learned so much from this place that I would rather give up half if not a whole cycle for what I have learned here. Shut the fuck up. I hate when ppl start hollering. When we put up information freely, it's only right for other people to be able to see it for free. It's one thing if George wrote that article himself or paid the author to write it, but he didn't. Therefore, it's not about the cost of platinum, it's about the author's intent of HIS content in the thread.

Firstly, this boards content is nothing without its members. Why do you direct the praise that belongs to fellow members to the owner of this board instead? Do you not see a problem in the following scenario? Joe Blow spends some quality time writing an article on insulin sensativity for example, Joe then posts his article on a forum for his fellow members to see. Joes post then gets sold without royalties through a 'platinum' system never seeing a dime.

Secondly, profits are already being generated through supplement sales and advertsisng passed off as friendly advice (condoms, casinos, porno, etc. etc.)

Thirdly, countless other forums operate freely the advantage of this forum is its number of members and often quality of information PROVIDED BY ITS MEMBERS. These members are not being respected.. instead they are being used to make a quick buck for an already very wealthy man who I assure you has NO problems paying for bandwidth.

You can tell me to 'fuck off if you dont like it' and continue to dirty your tounge in moderater/admin outholes but this is my opinion and I am expressing it.

Like I said over at the anabolic section that IF a non-platinum member creates a thread, it should NOT be moved to the classic board. As for all these boards like chat, pics, etc these take a tremendous amount of bandwidth. Just ask Mr spot me over at BBX. He had to stop the pics/porn section b/c the bandwidth was getting to be too much. I ONLY come here for the knowledge about aas. I just think it's kind of Cute, that I can't respond or even SEE my own thread.

It sucks because a lot of people, RIGHT NOW, were in the middle of the program, or JUST ABOUT TO start on the program.

The thread had a grip of good information about dieting in general that was posted by a bunch of members.

It was threads like those that people who were not even registered would read and email me about. Then I would tell those people to register, then pm me , or post their question on the boards. Which they would do.

Maybe you should stop and rethink. I can easily afford the $11.97/month. It is the principle of the whole thing to me. Why should I "have" to pay to see members pics? Porn? (Which there are tons of sites that kick the shit out of this one as far as porn goes and they are FREE).

As far as people leaving and people coming.....this board has "lost" a good number of quality people in the last 6 - 9 months. And no don't go by the date registered on my profile......with the whole switch and all that bullshit my date was lost, I have been a member since Dec. 2000 and read the board for a few months before that.

I deleted the pic from their server because It was my post, my pic and I refuse to let it sit on a board that I did not wish it to be on where I cannot view any replies from it. Let george start charging for the whole site. I can guarantee people will just go to another site such as anabolic extreme where the contribution of information is encouraged and free of charge.

I have and EF is not one of them. I can afford $11.97/month. That's not the problem. Is what I get in return worth $11.97? Not to me. For a couple bucks more I can pay my phone bill. For the same amount of money I can get a full monthly dial up service from an ISP. I can subscribe to MULTIPLE porn sites. I can subscribe to a usenet service and use 100x more bandwidth than I use here. I can subscribe to a magazine for a YEAR. Or, I can spend $11.97 here.

Personally, I don't think George's pricing model is very good. As a comparison to other pay sites on the internet, EF is incredibly expensive. With a token amount around $3-5/month, I think George would see A LOT more people signing up platinum memberships. I'd love to support the site but I won't be forced into it by having features taken away from me, and I won't support it by spending an amount which I think is unreasonable.

5-10 people that will join or 5-10 people that will join and pay for a platinum membership? There is a HUGE difference. Regardless, this site is what it has become because of the people who contribute here. If you shun those people, they will leave. If you lose enough of them, this site will NOT succeed. Obviously from the people responding, some people do care. A lot of people on this forum really enjoy EF. They don't want to see it go to hell in a hand basket like it seems lately. Besides, F-bodies are in a different price bracket compared to Mustangs. I'll take a new 2003 Cobra and spank your ass in an F-body (not vette) and do it in style wiht an independant rear suspension. Hardy har har.

I know you're kidding, heh heh. Don't get me wrong...I love the F-bodies. Specifically, the T/A. Give me a ram-air with the WS6 package in Pewter Metallic T-Top and I'm sportin a woody. I just have a special place in my heart for the Stang. Besides, I'm actually more of a classic car fan and I love Shelby's work.
