Just be careful what you wish for. I'm real ignorant of how modding works on this kind of board but I do know that when your get away/escape/hobby becomes to feel like a job, that's never a good thing. So make sure u know what u're getting yourself in for guys.

Yes silver shadow is a great guy.. and I think proto is a great choice as well, don't let his sarcasm fool ya.

LOL, I'd volunteer, (been a mod on various other boards), however, it appears the forum is looking for someone to mentor and advise as opposed to actually moderate the forum.

To mod it does restrict what and how you say things, the information is the same, but there are alot of politics that go on... if you can stay out of that, stay true to yourself and negate self righteous thinking you can still be effective..

I think BW, CS and Sarge have what it takes to do a good job at moderating the forum as well as mentoring and advising. I never thought madcow would have been interested in moderating, even though his advice was second to none.

not trying to be too negative but the exact same thing happened last time. we made a list, had mods coming over saying they agree with us and they would discuss it. later we got bignate as a mod...
