mixing var powder/everclear

well, based on my research, I decided to mix 2grams(2000mg) of var powder with 200ml of everclear (for a 10mg/ml concentration). Slight problem though as the powder is not dissolving. it settles to the bottom. Actually, I guess it would be correct to say, not all of the powder will dissolve, about half is undissolved. Did I do something wrong? Has anyone else ran into this problem? And now that 2grams of my powder is in this bottle, what's the best way for me to take it?

update...
I ran the everclear/var powder through a tea strainer and then ground up the large chunks of var powder and remixed it. I know I lost a bit of var during the filtering process, but I did learn my lesson. first off, you need to make sure you really ground the powder so it's fine, will mix better. ok then, bottoms up.

holy fuck that shit tastes nasty!!! I'm not looking forward to drinking that 4 times a day.
