Mixing proteins

What about mixing proteins powders (whey + casein + soy, or whatever you want) in order to benefit the most from each proteins sources)

* quick protein digestibility w/ whey
* BCAAs and L-glutamine from soy
* better amino acids profiles (compensating amino acids deficiencies)

I would back off soy...
mixing proteins would be good because each protein has pro's and cons. The amino profiles differ depending on the protein...

I have a egg/casein mixture during the day and use allthewhey isolate post workout...

you can take whey all day long but you would probably have to have your meals closer together because the whey gets digested so quickly...

Hey Anthrax,
I've been taking an Whey Isolate/Concentrate mix post workout.
In the evening before bed I use a Casein/Egg/Whey mix.
Since doing this I have made wicked gains.
I think its a great idea.

which has the lowest glycemic index of whey, soy, casien??? third time i have posted this and still no freakin answers

is that the same with powder though? i am sure the soy bean's GI is lower for the fiber and what not.

it took me about 30 seconds to find this information using this thing called a "SEARCH ENGINE"

Protein foods like poultry, low fat fish and protein powders; and fat foods like oils, nuts and seeds, have glycemic indexes close to zero.

hey jerkoffbox, i must not be bright enough to put in the correct words to do the correct serach because i did search this a number of times. however thank you

also when you eat too much protein in one meal it gets converted to Glucose (which has a gi rating of 100)

the "too much" point would differ from person to person.. Is there any rule of thumb to figure out how much you can consume without this happening????
