For what it's worth, I have loved my 2010 Subaru Legacy. But. it's not that ugly ass Forrester either. They are good cars, though. Why does she want a Subaru so bad?

LSV for the wif in full effect, it's what she wants, she's the queen.. so god dammit if I must drive this it must be a turbo.

How much play in these bad boys?
the last one (09 Charcoal) the guy told me 20,600 and called me a few days later and said "make him an offer" All dealerships so most are prob off lease?

Not sure how long they've had it, but that's not a bad price. It's back of wholesale to start with, and 20,000 seems to be what they're currently bringing at auction.

If he's asking you to make an offer it's most likely an aged unit and up for curtailment etc. 20k isn't bad...Offer him 19-19.5 and see what they say.

Hell offer them wtfever...you can always come up, you can't go down.

thanks alot, solid info

with current incentives you can get one for around 22k new....I called our subaru dlrship to ask

oh..one caveat...theres a shortage of inventory at the moment so if youre fussy about color you may be in for a wait for a new one

Is that equipped the way he wants it? If it is I would either that route, or use it as a bargaining chip on the used one.

(me and mitch /double facepalm)

I just sold a outback with a 2.5 non turbo

I really do not want a reg X premium or x limited, I want an XT, a car I can get on the highway that doesn't feel like it's powered by hampsters running in a wheel under the hood. the base 2.5 is a nice engine but it has zero balls, zero.

yeah, thats very equipped...and northeast programs (where hes at)
a decent dealership will flip him to new when he brings it up and probably throw away hb ..though idk...subaru is never lacking for monthly and quarterly numbers

thats probably why the ones hes finding are getting around wholesale prices

were having a similar problem with our pre-owned jeeps at the moment..our preowned are actually more money than buying brand new because of incentives but have a better certified pre-owned warranty than buying new

You should get a denali and roll like a bawse

My wife wouldn't drive a Denali, too big. I had a 02 Tahoe LT and while she loved riding in it , it was too big for her to drive daily. We have to venture into Boston monthly for my daughter

She does like the arcadi denali, but that is big money also and sucks gas. Big diff going 20K to 40K and more fuel consumption

I'm 35 with 2 kids now, no more ballin for me for awhile :(

the acadia isn't that much smaller than the yukon denali...Biggest difference is really less power and a unibody instead of frame.

Tell your wife to stop being a fuckin' poosie...My wife is 5'1 110lbs and drives my denali..

What does she drive when you have the denali? Mini truck?

Bought the black xt, clean car. Picking it up Monday. Thinking of a Turbo swap with a 08 wrx along with tires/ suspension and biiger brakes.
Gonna be lol when I house people in a lesbian utility vehicle

Also Mitch, looking into a good warranty that covers even the Turbo in the event I do no mods right away besides better skins and brakes. Subes brakes are all soft. Looking for 3-5 years of additional coverage approx. The car still has its 60k/6 yr per train ....meh. looking for more coverage imo
What can you do for me? The dealer was a rip off

powertrain warranties are hardly worth the paper they are written on

ALL modern powertrains that have been properly maintained should reach 100k miles

You'll have to proven you maintained it per instructions (I know several peeps that been through this dance)

https://www.subaru.com/my-subaru/warranties-2011.html

Your Maintenance Responsibilities

It is your responsibility to have all scheduled inspection and maintenance services performed at the times and mileages recommended at the back of this Booklet and to retain proof that inspection and maintenance services are performed when recommended. One method of proof is for you to have each maintenance service record contained in this Booklet validated at the proper time or mileage by the Authorized SUBARU Dealer or other service facility performing the service. You are also responsible for checking such items as fluid levels and tire pressures regularly.

The peripherals will kill you ... electronics, ac units, normal wearable parts, e.g. suspension

if it ain't on this lists you're fugged!

Powertrain Coverage Components

  • Engine
  • Engine block and all internal parts
  • Cylinder heads and valve trains
  • Oil pump, oil pan
  • Timing belts or gears and cover
  • Water pump
  • Flywheel
  • Intake and exhaust manifolds
  • Oil seals and gaskets

I buy a barrel of MS-103 octane for my viper. Add 20 liters to that and it runs amazing

I will text you Monday when I get to my office with a prices and options negro

TY brah

about premium Bino, car has a 16 gallon tank so you fill 14-15 gallons @ .20 cents more equals 2.90 per fill up or 12 bucks extra a month. Also you get better MPG,power, car runs better... 87 nowadays is dreadful

87 is just fine if that's what your car is made to run on.

If a car made to run on 87 runs better on higher grade, there's something wrong with it.

The 87 is shit, my truck runs on it and it sucks. This ethanol eats away at shit faster.

Side note...picked up the XT and it's pretty fast, I'm honestly impressed with the car.
