Missile defense, death penalty and Business

I do agree with the death penalty as you state it, I believe we can have the same safegaurds as we do now only without the wait. Alot of the time spent is in the cogs of the justice system in waiting for a court date and such. We should give priority to death row inmates on appeals and such and if evidence warrants it then by all means take the extra steps necessary.

I merely point out the cutting off of hands and such as the fact that the justice is swift and in their minds fits the crime committed. A Constitutional right is to a swift, speedy and fair trial? Correct? Then why doesn't the same apply for punishment? Swift, speedy and fair? This I think you will agree with is that the system is slow to stagnate and very unfair with a lot of sentencing both for and against the convicted.

Yes, I agree that the possibilities are remote, but lest we forget we did it once to achieve an end and we knew less about the bomb than we do now. If we get into an all out war with say Russia or China, they would use their missiles in a heart beat if they thought they were going to lose the war. I suspect we would too and why not? We or they would have nothing to lose since we already lost the war.

Troops are underpaid over worked and housed and treated poorly and this should be corrected. I agree also that technology is not the answer to everything.

As an example, look at our most advanced tactical fighter the F-22 Raptor, beautiful, sleek, fast, stealthy, and costs a lot of money. We are getting what a few hundred at best? If you damage one of those planes in combat it may very well be down for a long time due to the complexity of the repairs (composites and such) and the lack of spare parts. Now the Russians say with their Fulcrum, say it gets damaged, they drink a few beers, cut the cans and rivet the patch on. This is a simplified idea, but it brings the point you are making. Simplicity, and training can never be replaced.

As for politicians and such and what they say, your right. God only knows what they do really say. Our distributors for MDhelicopters, tell potential buyers all kinds of shit without us knowing about it and then we find out 6 months later and everything we designed then becomes useless and it is now our fault they don't want the aircraft.

Take a look at the second law I posted, your smarter than me!
