...and the worst part is that it doesn't bother me that much.
My wife and MIL love that cat. It's been with the family for the past 14 years. Recently, it's face has been really swollen. Today, they found something wrong with the swelling. It's either an absence or a tumour. Either way, it doesn't look good. My wife and MIL were crying earlier and my kids could understand why or where the cat was.
I did. But, the cat dying really doesn't bother me that much. Sure, I'll miss it, but to to the degree that those two will.
Either way, sad.
At least the basement won't smell like cat pee anymore.
