Milk Thistle or Tyler's Liver detox?

Big_Joe said:
About a year ago I was invited to attend a seminar on hepatitis. This seminar was three days long and covered new drugs, herbal formulas and treatments for treating the liver. Tylers was not mentioned at all!! If you can only get it from a doctor how come none of the doctors that were presenting even mentioned it?? There was a really great presentation by a Dr. Stewart. He had done Hepatitis C research on chimps and found out why some chimps become chronic with hep C and others clear the virus. This example should give you an idea about the level of the seminar. How many seminars have you been invited to???

It looks to me as though name brands of various formulas of liver detox were not the subject of the seminar. However I would bet that some of the ingredients used in Tyler's formula were discussed. If not, those attending are behind the curve on liver detoxification. And even though there are some really strange posts on Chat that may call my theory into question, I would guess that the population of this board does not include chimps with hepatitis C. Maybe if the topic was liver detox and not chimp hepatitis you may have heard something different.

You really are just a snake oil salesman. You provide no facts to support your positions. You wave your hands in the air spouting abstracts that you have leeched off of medline and then you offer up your snake oil to the wide eyed young neophytes.

If you really had any knowledge whatsoever you would know that chimps are the only animals, besides man, that get hep C. That's why they are used in hep C studies. But maybe you would like to donate your scranny body for study.

And yes there were two things that are in Tylers, that snake oil you want to make a million buck on, that were discussed in the seminar. Silymarin, commonly known as Milk Thistle, and Glutathione.

People reading this should take note that You and your gay friend DBBT, by the way notice his gun is empty, are, in all likelyhood, working together to drum up sales. This is exactly the way it was done when snake oil salesman rode the trains into town and put on a show. The salesman would bang his gong a few times to get some attention. After the crowd had gathered he would start shouting out the wonders of his miracle snake oil. Then a few people in the crowd, that were working with the snake oil salesman called shills, would begin shouting out how great this stuff is. It cured all of their problems. And then sales would begin.

You are doing exactly the same scam and I'm calling you on it! The only thing you are selling is a vitamin with mineral tablet with some antioxidants thrown in. It's what's known as "The Shotgun Formula" just throw a little of everything in it and you will have a long list of ingredients for the ignorants to ponder over.

I have seen people post that they trust you on this forum. I don't trust you at all. I think you are a scam artist trying to make a fast buck. I'm surprised you don't sell Gakic. Or maybe you do but under a different name on a different forum.

In Europe and Asia doctors will often prescribe "Legalon" for liver protection. It's active ingredient is Silibinine/silymarine, which is milk thistle extract.
My conclusion is that milk thistle must not be that bad of a liver protectant...

I provided the ingredients and a link to the patent that explains in great detail the science behind the Ohio State University research showing it's effectiveness in the detoxification of the liver.
Your post is only filled with insults and name calling that doesn't present any factual evidence to support your view.
Tyler Liver Detox is only sold by physicians to their patients. I don't know how you can call that a scam. We have to have a physician buy it and send it to us in order to provide it to members of this board. All of this is way more trouble than the few dollars we make on Tyler is worth to most people. My doctor gave me Tyler and when I saw the results I found a way to get it for the members here because I felt it was a good product. You obviously don't know anything about me or the store I run.

Your insults and name calling are only going to get you banned. I suggest you leave that behavior off this board or you'll be asked to leave.
