Besides the fact that with all this dumbass steroid publicity lately who knows when they might come down and say everyone will be tested immediately. Don't think the military won't spend the money. You have no diea how much money the military wastes on a daily basis. To test everyone wouldn't really be a big deal. With that in mind I know someone who was on right up until basic training and you all get tested going in and they passed. The commander can request to test you but technically has to get a warrant therefore he needs probable cause so if you do juice while in don't give them any.

Tell me about it. My career field is grossly grossly undermanned and they are still kicking people out and not letting others re-enlist. The money should go to providing for the troops instead of the big-wigs and more equiptment that we don't have the man-power to take care of.CO B-man said:Enlistment is down in wartime. A lot of the fake gun ho tough guys are not so gung ho when there is a very real possabilty to be facing danger. besides if they spent all there money on personell resources who would pay for cheneys hunting excursions?

Apparently they are recruiting like crazy, not allowing people to cross train, but still kicking some guys out, and it has nothing to do with ratings or anything. I don't understand the logic but I'm not sure anyone does.......at least no one on the workers level that can see what actually goes on. All they go by are numbers, if the planes are getting off the ground then who cares about manning. Fuck it we can work 12 hour shifts no days off.....suck it up its our job right lol. Kills me.

Agreed but there is nothing wrong with a little friendly rivalry. At the end of the day I think or at least hope we all have the utmost respect for each other because without any little piece the whole thing wouldn't work.CO B-man said:I hate to disagree with you and I am not trying to be a jerk about it, but, when you belong to the U.S. government, probable cause goes out the window. You at that time are property of the U.S. Government and they can do with you as they wish, within reason. If you have a house OFF BASE that they issue you a per diem check for every month they can, willl and sometimes do inspect it just as they would the barracks they furnish those who live on base.
Also Blue to Green red to orange purple to yellow Army to Navy, Air Force to Marine Corp. None of that shit matters bro's We are ALL brothers and sisters in arms and we all bleed red. You see a fellow ALLY fallen whether he or she is Army, Air Force, Navy or Marines you mother F8%#en go back and pick them up and take them with you. That simple!!
CO B-man said:Try this. The recruiters are always asking if you have a buddy that wants to join. Tell them you do but he just got off a cycle of steroids a month ago and it stays in your system for a few months and that will open it up for you to ask the recruiter straight up if they test for it because of your concern for your imaginary friend. people ask about their imaginary friend in this forum all the time lol

Had I have stayed in, I would have qualified for foodstamps, great compensation for a fucking Non Commisioned Officer don't ya think! lol I've heard it has gotten much better pay wise since then though, I got out in '98. Oh, I was a generator mechanic/motor sgt[/QUOTE
You said it bro. I get a credit at the end of the year because I technically live below the poverty level. Of course when you factor in the free housing it is better but for the hours we put in we are making crap. I'm also married with a kid.
