military and aas.....

hey everyone i was wondering if the military tests for AAS when they do the physical and shit......i know you have to do a piss test for rec drugs but they also take blood anyone know if they check out for AAS? thanx ahead of time....

they (The Government) can only afford to test a portion of all the samples they take from the soldiers or recruits so you have potential to get lucky there but I do not know for sure but I do not believe they test for roids. I would do my homework for sure though. Try this. The recruiters are always asking if you have a buddy that wants to join. Tell them you do but he just got off a cycle of steroids a month ago and it stays in your system for a few months and that will open it up for you to ask the recruiter straight up if they test for it because of your concern for your imaginary friend. people ask about their imaginary friend in this forum all the time lol

No they DO NOT test for AAS in the Military. However, if you start flipping out on people and coming unglued, while adding on 25 solid pounds of muscle in a month, then they will most likely test. A lot of people will know, but they dont care. Unless they are certain the commander is not going to initiate the test, when there is a good chance it will be negative, and inturn getting an IG complaint filed for false accusations.

Im sure there may be a few PD's that test, hwoever I just cant see them being able to afford multiple 250-300 dollar tests

If you are a new recruit. You will see fights from people coming unglued for many reasons besides just testosterone. Differing personalities, backgrounds, cultures STRESS, lack of SLEEP, blah blah blah but the main reason people come unglued in basic is a combination of Lack of sleep, stress, and if you were a smoker or chewed tobacco you have it ten times worse with that just being one other thing you have to deal with because they do not let you continue with those habits and cold turkey is hard. Good luck man!

I can tell you for sure there are guys that are on in the military. I don't just because I can't see risking it even if there is a slight chance. Besides the fact that with all this dumbass steroid publicity lately who knows when they might come down and say everyone will be tested immediately. Don't think the military won't spend the money. You have no diea how much money the military wastes on a daily basis. To test everyone wouldn't really be a big deal. With that in mind I know someone who was on right up until basic training and you all get tested going in and they passed. The commander can request to test you but technically has to get a warrant therefore he needs probable cause so if you do juice while in don't give them any.

Trust me I do in fact have an idea! I served 8 years. They spend their money more on other things like contracts to Dick Cheney... I mean Gun Safety with Dick Cheney as a spokeman or to Halliburton where Dick Cheneys pockets will get lined. LOL! They expect the soldiers immediate chain of command and up, to take notice of soldiers they believe are on any type of drugs. I was an NCO and almost a commissioned officer through ROTC in college but said screw that I want to work for a living right along side my fellow troopers. I have been there and done that.

Maybe we can get some god damned pers with the money..Sick of birds being down all the fucking time, and cannabilzing off of other tails

Enlistment is down in wartime. A lot of the fake gun ho tough guys are not so gung ho when there is a very real possabilty to be facing danger. besides if they spent all there money on personell resources who would pay for cheneys hunting excursions?

They can test but they must have probable cause and the command must specifically request a specific test for steroids. This is the policy for the Army, I am not sure about the Navy, USMC or AF.

Tell me about it. My career field is grossly grossly undermanned and they are still kicking people out and not letting others re-enlist. The money should go to providing for the troops instead of the big-wigs and more equiptment that we don't have the man-power to take care of.

They giving out any bonus's, being that is a critically manned carrer field? I doubt it.

I am pretty sure that I know what branch you are in. Remember, there is alwasy Blue to GREEN program lol

LOL negativo on the blue to green.......i just got out of the desert and I'm not trying to spend the rest of my life over there lol. Nope no bonuses for us. Apparently they are recruiting like crazy, not allowing people to cross train, but still kicking some guys out, and it has nothing to do with ratings or anything. I don't understand the logic but I'm not sure anyone does.......at least no one on the workers level that can see what actually goes on. All they go by are numbers, if the planes are getting off the ground then who cares about manning. Fuck it we can work 12 hour shifts no days off.....suck it up its our job right lol. Kills me.

The most ridiculous thing ever invented is the flying hours program, where you have to fly out the numbers of hours allotted, or you wont get the full funding for next FY All it does it fuck maintenance in the ass, and add up unwanted peacetme hours..Of course come September, there are flights out the ass to catch up

hey everyone thanxs for the great feedback not as worried as i was... so i have 2 weeks left of this cycle....should i finish it i mean might as well cuz if they do test me i will be hot for about 3 months...but im not huge it was my first cycle and i did low does i have only gained about 16lbs.....and the recruiter didnt know me b4 soo what do yall say?

I hate to disagree with you and I am not trying to be a jerk about it, but, when you belong to the U.S. government, probable cause goes out the window. You at that time are property of the U.S. Government and they can do with you as they wish, within reason. If you have a house OFF BASE that they issue you a per diem check for every month they can, willl and sometimes do inspect it just as they would the barracks they furnish those who live on base.

Also Blue to Green red to orange purple to yellow Army to Navy, Air Force to Marine Corp. None of that shit matters bro's We are ALL brothers and sisters in arms and we all bleed red. You see a fellow ALLY fallen whether he or she is Army, Air Force, Navy or Marines you mother F8%#en go back and pick them up and take them with you. That simple!!

Agreed but there is nothing wrong with a little friendly rivalry. At the end of the day I think or at least hope we all have the utmost respect for each other because without any little piece the whole thing wouldn't work.

Oh and they do need probable cause but like you said you belong to them and there are ways around that. They can force you to give a sample and use it as a way to discharge you......but it can not be used as the means to determine which kind of discharge you get. Basically it means if they force it out of you they can kick you out but would have to give you a discharge based on all previous performances and not the positive drug test. Still not worth it IMO.

As long as everyone has each others backs and never lets it ellevate higher than just fun, then you are absolutely right nothing wrong with that! Hell, even I was thinking about joing the Marine corp instead of the Army once but I could never get my head in the jar........

Rock on!!

"See I have this friend, his name is Tuper Sech, no it's not me really..."

ya so what servie was everyone in? im joing the army and just wanted to know wut everyone else did and how it went

I spent 5yrs in the Army & loved it, the part I didn't love was being poor! I was a married SGT w/1 kid & 1 on the way when I got out. Had I have stayed in, I would have qualified for foodstamps, great compensation for a fucking Non Commisioned Officer don't ya think! lol I've heard it has gotten much better pay wise since then though, I got out in '98. Oh, I was a generator mechanic/motor sgt

Did 10 years as a 18 Delta...saw plenty of guys jacked up, Had friends that were on.
Had a C.O. that was on because I watched his BP and labs for him. Its only a
issue if you make it an issue. :artist:

You said it bro. I get a credit at the end of the year because I technically live below the poverty level. Of course when you factor in the free housing it is better but for the hours we put in we are making crap. I'm also married with a kid.

So apparently it hasn't gotten that much better, maybe my good friend that is still in just says that because he is now an E-7 on the E-8 list! haha I had just gotten back from 3.5yrs over seas so I had no car = car payment & the waiting list for elisted housing at Ft. Campbell was insane = rent. I lived about 4 miles from work and was constantly worried about keeping gas in my car! That being said, I can't imagine where I would have found the money for juice back then!
