allow me to say that MIKEYG is still very young.

he's very knowledgable and takes his training/diet very seriously.
i've witnessed his transformation in the last year and can honestly tell you this guy is a true pro!

i can see him in the my.olympia one day.. no joke!
 
satch-man, I really appreicate your kind words bro! :) I just find that reading and being knowledgable about the bodybuilding world as well as the training principals will certainly have an impact on your physique.

I do know that I am wishing to compete at a local bodybuilding show in 2005 or so, then I will go from there!
 
holy shit, what a transformation... unbelievable... what does your diet look like? and how long did it take you to get from pic#1 to pic#3?

MikeyG, a cycle is this concept some guys came up with that is quit popular. It means you come off of ALL of the drugs for a X weeks before starting them up again.

First pic was taken in 3/2002. Last picture was taken 10/2003.
Two years of training, but really went hardcore in the last 4 months.

Cycles:
I did three cycles up to my current one now.

#1 8 weeker 500mg Weekly of Test Enanthate (ICN Galenkias) +25 lbs

#2 8 weeker of 500mg Weekly of Test Enan (QV) 200mg EQ (QV) + fina 75mg ED.

#3 Current 30mg Dbol 5 weeks, Fina 150mg EOD, 750mg Test Weekly for 8 weeks.

Post Cycle therapy included Nolva, Clomid and HCG (usual time on = time off for me)

At first I didn't know crap about training-- I trained 4 or 5 times weekly and sure I gained some mass and leaned up nicely, but the more knowledge I achieved from DoggCrapp- I blew up in size and strength is just simply unreal! I owe all my props to him and I'm just starting to get the real results of this program.

But of course I'm still ain't happy with my size. :p

Shows what a bro can do with proper training and diet... by using gear as a kick-start, not as the whole be-all and end-all.

Good deal since you are on dogg's program, that means you are eating right-tons of protein, and training very hard...those two alone are more important than the sauce..but it looks like you are using it as a finishing agent once everything else is in place.
Good work and keep on growing.

How are the ladies treating you now that you have all this size??? Do people in general look at you differently?

I seem to have much more confidence in meeting and hammerin' them ladies latley. or is it due to the high testosterone? lol. But, I will have to admit that the people/friends that knew me a year before CANNOT believe the size I am now, they're questionable if i am 'using' anything.... I always deny it and blame it on Celltech/nitrotech as usual.

I must say that the sauce is simply a supplement to the training/diet... I'm learning that the diet is almost 70% of the equation of reaching your goal.

One thing I do notice is by having bigger arms/ shoulders/trap and neck can do wonders for getting respect from guys- especially inside and outside from the gym. hell when you first meet a guy and see that he's got massive neck/traps/arms what would you think of him? yup.

hey dude, what kind of post cycle therapy u used?
i´m looking for a test only cycle as your first one of test enanth at 500 a week for 8 weeks.
you surely look good bro, keep the good form.

That's the link of the DC training-- it's 1000+ post thread though! I suggest that you read the very first post (#1) and go to the links supplied. It should cover the very basics of it.

This training is very similar to Dorian Yates, Mike Menzter HIT, just ONE WORK set for each body part. Train maybe 3 times weekly at the most. That's all it takes.

As for diet... That is an entirely different story. I am training under DC himself- and the diet he supplies me is simply insane but I am trying to keep up with the protien intake, and yet, it WORKS.

DC told me that I will start seeing real results after being on this program for at least 2-3 months. Well three months has slipped by and the new found strength in the gym makes me wanna shit in my pants when i look in the log book when i first had started.

For Example.
Overhead Smith Press started at 115 x 15 reps. now doing 240 x 18 reps.
Hammer Decline Bench: 225 x 10 reps, now 405 x 12 reps.
(DC is mainly rest pausing principal- meaning the one WORK set is truely 3 sets...) Such as 405 x 6, 15 breaths, then 405 x 4, 15 breaths then 405x2. with a total of 12 reps.

Needsize's 5x5 program is no doubt a great program! it some what shares the same overload adapations as the DC training does.

But to each person one will adapt better than the other-- I honestly think that they are BOTH great programs. Try one out for a while, and make a switch if you feel that you can achieve better gains.

My painful d-bol pumps would hate me if I trained high reps.

Who said I was doing high reps? I meant to say high weight, low reps. Focusing on controlled negatives.

I misunderstood the rep total and took it as rep-per-set. My mistake. Keep training hard!
 
it is high reps.....the pumps are intense....which is the whole point really....it can get pretty close to unbearable without the dbol.

oh, and looking good there Mikey....nice progress.

hold up... I think you're mistaken, this DC training has NOTHING to do with high reps. I hardley EVER get a pump doing this program, but on the next day I am so fucking sore that its actually painful to move the muscle.
 
15-18 reps isn't high reps?


I've done DC man....if your not getting intense pumps from your workset, you're not getting the full benefit of the program.

I dont know if you understand that DC has rest pausing implemented into this program with extreme slow negative and fast exploding concentrics.

For instance in the WORK set.
315 x 8
rest 30 sec
315 x 4
rest 30 sec
315 x 2

that's 14 reps total.. it's not HIGH rep in ONE contionous set bro. I can still be mistaken, as I understand it, it's really three sets in the "Work Set"

Also, getting intense pumps HAS NOTHING to do with growth stimulation at all.. absolutly nothing! Sure i've gotten good pumps every now and then, but not in the majority of the training days. I get a deep intense pain, rather than a 'pump' feeling.
 
I understand the program, i read every article and applied it in the gym. i know all about warm up sets, work sets, rest pauses, static holds and extreme stretching.

i know what your sayin man, it's high reps...not in the traditional sense....

and i know pumps have nothing to do with growth stimulation. i was just pointing out the fact that DC gave me intense pumps....how could it not after a 15 rep set. the program is all about high intensity...about using one set to push beyond the barriers of what one would normally do in a typical set. It's high intensity training. Dogg didn't invent it, but he has put together a good program.

anyway, the whole point was, if one were experiencing a lot of pain from pumps on dbol, I would think that DC training could be a rather painful experience.
