microwaving gear

hey guys

i know all bout sterilizing gear with 0.22 micron filters and baking, but i am curious about sterilizing oils that may be infected

besides the fact that it may denature the structure of the molecule, is it possible to sterilize gear using the microwave?, if so how would i go about soing it?
