Ok so I'm taking some classes and I need to get a program that I can use to write essays. Does anybody have any links to some free downloads or something. Cuz microsoft word at Best Buy is 499.99 and I'm not about to pay that shit.

Be careful - lotsa them have viruses/trojans. Almost every 2 weeks i have to go to a friends house and cleanup all the 10,000 pieces of crap that have infiltrated their computer from dl'ing shit.

Just buy the student version. Then you're all legal and legit. The 2008 package is pretty good stuff. I use it on my macs.
