IMO bad move for the Eagles.
IMO I don't think he should be banned from the sport. He did his time. That said, it doesn't mean I would hire him if I were the owner of the team.
There is a ton of support behind him though. Many of my black friends think he is a victim of the system and stand by him 100%. Everyone else I know thinks he should be banned.
I'm not an Eagles fan and they suck so it doesn't matter to me.
If it hurts the Eagles financially they will dump him. I wonder how long his contrast is.

Not that I would have signed him but I would have only went for 1 year. If they get bad PR (which they will) it could hurt them more than help.
The fan anger will last about as long as Dodger fans hated Manny Ramirez. A couple TD's and nobody will care. $1.6 million means they expect some TD's.

McNabb could be a good mentor. A veteran's perspective may help Vick put a lot of what's going on inside his head behind him.

If people can celebrate the life of a crotch-grabbing pedophile who has enough money to buy off his victims -- vick, who did his time, can go back to work. There's nothing stopping him from donig whatever he wants to do in life.
He's a free man who did his time. People are just jealous he'll go back to making way more money than them. Boo fucking hoo. Would they feel better if he became CEO of a bank and made $30M a year?

Im not really...The guy is an athletic freak...Im surprised some other teams didnt make him a starter...For example the vikings...You cant possibly tell me that sage rosenfels is more talented than Vick and with him in the backfield they could have lots of running options with peterson back there...even if you hate vick you cant deny he has skills

As an eagles fan i could care less. I'm just glad mcnab is done and we dont have to see him blow every big game.

The thing that upsets me is how people are soo mad about Vick returning to society? I mean sure what he did was absolutely terribly wrong. I think he got off very lightly however. He got sentenced and did his time what do these people want. For him to go put himself back into prison for a few more donated years. I think he did his time and now should have the oppurtunity to get his job back.
