Mic help with Netmeeting

Just looking for some ideas ... I'm using Microsoft netmeeting and get perfect connections, and can hear the other person perfectly, but they can't hear me at all???? I worked with a bunch of different settings last night and still can't make it work? Just wondering if anyone has any advice on this subject. Yes the mic is plugged into the right spot, and yes, it's functioning properly... I'm thinking it's something in netmeeting?? Hopefully some of you have been through this exact same thing...

maybe it's sound driver incompatibility with netmeeting.
Does it work (mic) on other software?

Yes... I've tested it with the sound recorder.... works fine...
