My band just finished our self produced demo CD.

i checked out the demos and here is my take:

i think you guys have something solid going on. the music is hard hitting, and gives off a southern hard rock feel, to me at least (any southern influences?). there are definitely some metal influences showing themselves too.

i'd be interested to see what kind of vocals you end up with. i can definitely see a raspy singing/screaming voice fitting in nicely. i personally don't think a real clean, polished singing voice would fit your style of play, but that is ultimately your decision.

you guys got a good start - good heavy rocking music. get a vocalist, play your ass off and hopefully you'll have a record deal. best of luck.

Thanks man. We won't settle on anything less than a kick ass vocalist for sure. Our main influences are Metallica, Pantera, and Black Label Society. We practice and play our asses off here in L.A., and that's the goal, to make this our lives.

Thanks guys. Girls can just not hang with us, their voices are too thin, and we're so overpowering on stage, that they just get lost in the shuffle. Plus it's not the right image we're looking for either.

When we get the right guy, it'll be well worth the wait. We're already headlining various clubs around Hollywood, so when we get a frontman, it's gonna be CRUSHING.

I don't know about chicks having thin voices, you must be hearing the wrong chicks singing, hehe. If you can tell me that the chick from Undying has a thin voice, then I must not know shit about music. Hell, that chick from Otep has a better scream than most men.

But anyway, if you find someone that sounds like Dax Riggs, that'd be a good fit.

I haven't heard Undying at all....... heard a few Otep tunes. C'mon, I know a little bit about music! LOL Anyone who sounds like Sully, Hettfield, Cornell, Staley, Weiland, or an sort of combination of those will work great. It also depends on how catchy is the shit they come up with? If they can come up with anything... we've had some good voices that couldn't write to our music cuz they said it was too complicated.
