I'd like feedback on my fat loss plan. Stats are 6'3", 220lbs around 12% bodyfat, my main goal is fat loss and if I put on some muscle, great. I have a chance to model but want to get my bodyfat down to around 6% before I consider it. I believe Dr. DiPasquale is the most knowledgeable when it comes to nutrition, so i'm following his Metabolic Diet. Ratio's of protein can be from 40-50% and fat from 40-60%, w/ 30g or less of carbs during the week with the weekend carb-up. I'm VERY resistant to fat loss and seem to gain on BodyOpus with its ultra high fat %'s, so i'm gonna try my bodyweight X 8 (1760 cals), eating 50% protein and 50% fat, by calories. This works out to be 220g protein, the 1 g per lb. bodyweight I wish to meet. Again, i'm very resistant to fat loss, especially on my waist and chest. Planned diet is as follows:
5 meals Per Day, each the same:
8 oz. 90% lean ground beef (6 oz. cooked)
2 fish oil capsules for 3 meals
Lifting 3x per week and interval training 3x per week (sprint, jogs or 20 min on the stepper, 40sec high intensity, 80 sec low, alternating). Supplements will include Nitromine and Glutacene after training, T2 3 times per day, and Ginkgo Biloba. Any feedback would greatly be apprecieated. How does this plan sound compared to a high protein, low carb, and moderately low fat diet I'm considering also, mainly top round steaks w/ a little fish oil. Thanx guys, i'll keep u posted on reaching my goals.
