mesomorphs vs ectomorphs need for protien, and diets for both?suggestions?

i would think sense mesomorphs have such a slow metbolism their protien needs are alot less than ectomorphs. because there bodys are not burning up feuls like protien and carbs not nearly the rate as alot of ectomorphs. what do you guys think?

i know that for myself my protien needs are verysmall like maybe 100 grams a day or less. i weigh 230-240. i gain fat easily but put on muscle easy. and perserve muscle very easily when dieting. i have to eat very little to stay lean. i feel i may be a mesomorph. i can easily bulk up to 270 plus putting on alot more muscle and fat. ive never really done a true bulking routine yet for a long enough period of time, but what im saying is gaining is easy for me.

a friend of mine weighs about 150 and definitly eats alot more calories than me and about the same bodyfat. he doesnt lift weights much at all and is quite a little fella. but eats alot more food than me, he cant ever seem to put on much bodyweight either. he says he couldnt grow for shit on 100 grams of protien and needed more.

so this makes me think that i probably need more carbs to speed up my metabolism to make up for my slow metabolism, this seems like it would be more ideal for a mesomorph.

and for ectomorphs they would need a higher protien count then most because their bodys metabolism is so fast they burn up their fuels in no time at all.

any input?
 
i wish there was more scientific studies about athletes needs for different nutrients like protien and carbs

because most studies are done on the average of the subjects. people in these studies are sometimes on the high end and on the low end of things. and all we get is the average

i think most people are endomophs....i think?? so basically the studies will be based on those types. but what about averages and needs for nutrients for the minoritys like ectomorphs and endo morphs?
 
I'm too tired to think through all this but the you need at LEAST 150g of protein a day regardless to meet brain glucose needs if you expect to remain in a posotive nitrogen balance - there is NO way around this.

Agreed with most everything else.
