Most if not all founders of science did not believe in women as intellectual and moral beings.

I sometimes wonder if it wasn't in part because a lack of education... indeed, men are better known for rational thought (IMO unquestionably superior to emotional 'thought'), but if one looks at third-world societies, the men and the women often act similarly emotional and foolish.
