well, i guess it's a just a personal choice.....destin, florida, home of the best, whitest sady beaches is just a couple of hours from here; it's no big deal to do a quickie road trip there.

the tri-cities area, with it's mountains, friendly people, lower temperatures, lesser humidity and lack of inner city natives, is a refreshing change of climate and attitude for me.

How are your chances of winning?

Pretty good. I've been playing a lot so my game is not bad right now. Keeping the ball in the fairway will be tatamount because the rough is a real thick bermuda rough. You could easily lose your ball in the rough at this course.

Lately, I've been using a 1 iron off the tee for more control and hitting the ball around 240-250 yards. I always have the mindset of "play the course" don't let the "course play you." The mental game is always the downfall when playing golf.

I'll let you know Monday when all is said and done.
