meal timing matter?

so does it matter when i eat vs. workouts or sleep etc? or does it just matter at the end of the day how much i ate for the day when it comes to fitness, losing fat, etc. in other words if i eat the same foods/calories/macros during the day vs. time them a certain part of the day would i get different results?
 
yes it matters.

if you ate 10 meals spread out vs. just 2 meals in a window even if it were the exact same foods and calories and macros you would get different results due to hormones, gut health, metabolism, GH pulse, etc. this is why intermittent fasting is so much better than the standard american eat from morning to night diet
