Damn Nick that is some big weight especially on the pause press. Did you bench P'lifter style? or did you go BB style? Good to hear about your heart, need more lat work IMO since it really helps the bench, you might want to try some single pulls

I did everything PL style today, I figured I need more lat work, I thought about doing more lat work on DE day, or maybe doing some barbell pullovers on ME day.

Try not pullovers on ME day untill all pressing is done since the tris ares used on pull-overs and you don't want to compromise pressing strength. Try some pull-ups(weighted) you might like them;)

now does pause press mean you were pausing on your chest, or on the boards,...... and if it means boards, doest that mean you were just touching and going on the 340 x1 board press, or did you let it sink in???

The Pause presses were boardless, and the board presses had a slight sink to them....Is that right? or are you supposed to just touch and go?
 
now you did them right, your just a beefcake, thats all.

Pause on your board work and you will get more out of the movement. Let the weight push through the boards into your body but keep everything tight. Do not relax on the boards. Good luck!
