If your calves aren't growing you need to take a different approach. I believe the key to getting calves to grow is FULL REPS, each rep should have a full stretch for 1 second and a peak contraction for 1 second. Do sets of 100 with calf presses using this rep speed... but do 10 reps, rest 15 seconds, 10 reps, rest 15 seconds, etc.. Do this for seated and standing calves for a few months and tell me your calves didn't grow...
