MBE Flagged!?

New member
Someone I have not received any mail from yet (3 pieces missing from them) has just told me the reason I haven't received it is because my addy may be flagged by customs, even though I've been receiving mail from others at that addy. Is there any way I can tell if it's flagged? Should I be concerned? (I am!)

do not respond to anything.....do not sign for anything....do not recieve anything from any shipping/delivery person.....do not inquire about anything...let it go....there will be more advice Iam sure to your thread with more details....HEED MY ADVICE NO MATTER WHAT ANYONE RECOMMENDS.....

if you see anything suspicius outside the place get outta there.. even if its a van with a lady holding a kid in her hands.. ive heard feds pull some weird shit during sting operation...

best is if you go in there at night if you have 24 hour access and pick it up but if you have to sign for something which you shouldnt cause they sign for you something maybe going on.

the question is.......

Well let me ask you this, have you ever ordered from them before? Is the person reputable? If the answer is yes to both, do like the bro said, don't pick up nothin' , don't sign for nothing. and change your e-mail addy too.....that is what I would do. Maybe I am wrong but I think that is strong advice.:11shot:

Triggerman2003, No, I have never received anything from this source, all the while receiving at this MBE from other sources. Maybe this source is a scam?
Also, if it really is flagged, shouldn't I receive a notice from customs?

Yes, you should receive a customs notice unless they're planning on doing a controlled delivery...........

a controlled delivery is what I told you not to respond to....when an agent poses as a mail/delivery, ups, or whatever type of person to get you to sign for something or fill something out or take possession of something, or give any information about something......read my post again......DO NOT DO ANYTHING....DO NOT RESPOND IN ANY- WAY- SHAPE- OR FORM- TO ANYTHING....are you listening bro????

When I got popped they did not pose as desk clerks, they know that if you go in there 2-3 times a week they know you know the people that work there. They waited in there cars which now when I look back I should have noticed that the cars were fairly "government" lookin. I walked in, got my pack and left to get in my car and bam.

Things to look for are slight changes in tracking, like it gets updated in the morn instead of night, also the people that worked there called my dads house which I used on the application to let me know that I had a pack, they had never done that and never would have done that is it wasnt being watched.

PBR,
Of course I'm listening to you, but if that happens, what do I do, just refuse to sign for it and/or refuse to take a package if they hand it to me? What if they come to my door and say "this is for you" and hand it to me? Just say "no it isn't" and slam the door?

Use your noodle mate, if they give it to you and say 'this is for you' then take it. If they ask you to sign anything then don't.

Gel: Well if they give it to me and I take it, then I'm in posession of it, right? Isn't that what PBR was referring to when he said "do not recieve anything from any shipping/delivery person"? I am using my noodle, but now I'm getting conflicting advice, it seems.

syd black: What happened to you when you got popped?

CANUCK4 and others...

lets talk a little about a controlled delivery:

scenario:

source ships out from abroad on monday morning via ems service which usually takes 3-4 days to arrive to the receiver in the u.s. keep in mind that the ems package can be tracked at usps.com once it reaches the u.s.

the packcage which was sent via ems will most likely reach jfk on tuesday or wednesday. once it clears customs (which takes a day maximum) we can track the package and see where its at.

so lets assume 4 days have passed and when tracking it via usps.com the package still shows its in jfk.. that would trigger a red light for the sender/reciever.

the bottom line:

if customs snags the package and decides on arranging a controlled delivery, how long would it take them to arrange it?

FLAGGED

Don't do anything different than you do everyday. Just do not sign for any packages from people that you do not know. Why would you act different than ussual you have not broken any laws? You did not order anything from anyone outside the US so why would you accept a package from somewhere you know nothing about??? If a mail man for some odd reason asks you why you are refusing mail, with all of the terrorism going on in the world it only makes sense. Why in the world would an upstanding citizen like yourself take off running from a women in a van?? Make sense to anyone else? You will be fine just keep abiding by the law just like you have been doing and be smart.

satchboogie: Wait a minute; how do you know it only takes a day or two to clear customs? I have a pack that's been in Miami customs since Aug. 29. Should I be concerned?

I'll add that I've received items since Aug 29, so wouldn't that indicate that what's in Miami is just waiting until someone gets to it?

Just use regular snail mail, keep the weight on the package low and have the source pack it with stuffing so nothing shakes. You can never go wrong. Of course you can't send bulk this way, but keep the cycle to yourself, better off not getting hauled off to federal prison, rather then getting a friend something.

Sorry guys.... if you think by not signing anything you are safe, you are mistaken. Signing for the package means nothing. If you have the package in your hands, either at home, at the store, or just standing by your mailbox at the end of the driveway, that is acceptance.

You guys REALLY need to get the book "Legal Muscle" and you wont have to worry about asking these questions. Everybody in this game needs to read the book before they order. It will be the best $50 you EVER spend. It will more than likely keep you out of prison. If you have been getting packages from other sources I would be concerned that the guy you recently ordered from is a shit faced scammer. If your address was red flagged, then all the packages sent there would have been stopped. I would bring this point up to the mentioned source and if you dont ever receive your goods he should offer to resend a portion of your order to a different address. If he does not offer this, than more than likely he ripped you off. Seriously though, order Legal Muscle. Ask anybody here how valueable the book is, and I'm sure they will all tell you that it is a must have. Good luck bro, and feel free to shoot me a PM if you have any other questions.

Shit Bro, you took the words right out of my mouth. It sounds like this "source" is nothing more than another piece of shit scammer.

Your MBE is "flagged" - lol. Horseshit! You just got scammed Bro. Ask the source for a tracking number and if he doesn't have that ask him to re-ship to another address and send it priority mail so you can track it. If he refuses then he definitely scammed you. Plus, how the fuck would he know your MBE address is "flagged"? Yeah right

It's about time there was an good reply to the mans question. This thread is filled with misinformation.
Like Lat said, take it to the legal forum. But my guess is you've been scammed.

Latamier and satchboogie, you have mail.

I'm beginning to think you guys are right about being scammed, since I have received packs from others during the time I've been waiting on these shit-heads.

What though, about my package that's been in Miami customs since Aug 29? This one is being shipped to a different addres than the one mentioned above. Does customs sometimes take a couple weeks to clear a pack (or to get around to doing it)?

Thanks so much for all the replies. What a great forum.

If it has been seized by customs you will get a letter. If your tracking shows a pack in Miami for 2 weeks instead of being delivered, watch for a letter in the mail.

Also they are more likely to prove the pack was intended for you if the execute a controlled delivery. Usually the point of controlled delivery is to get a signature. So, AAP, actually the signature is important. never sign...

always change up the addys used occassionally for security. Use alias names if possible to open MBE accounts and boxes.
Thanks so much for all the replies. What a great forum.

But I've had people tell me the pack was sent and it doesn't arrive for six weeks sometimes. I would guess that some of that six weeks is time in customs. And, I've received paks at this address during the time that that pack has been tied up in customs, so maybe there's still a chance it will clear?
Shit, this is getting scary. I just moved here and have no one's house to put the stuff at. In your opinion, should I just purge, wait, and start again later?

Don't assume what shows up on tracking is exactly what is really happening. All it takes is an underpaid postal worker to miss scanning your pack and it will show that it has not moved. I've tracked stuff that was supposedly still in transit when it was sitting right in front of me.

very true...
but 9 out of 10 they got it right.

When I first started, I used a MBE box. I once had a pack seized and was even called at home by the local postal inspector..

And you know what?

I continued to receive packages in the future at the same box.

Packages are sticking in Customs longer regardless of what the contents are.

I have a huge hockey and baseball card collection and some of my card packages from Canada are taking 15 days to clear thru.

Anyhow....you should always be careful just in case. Never sign for a package, never keep gear in your house if you feel things are abnormal..

Sounds like all I can do is clean up, sit tight and hope nothing happens, right? The only indications I have that things are abnormal is the one bogus source saying my MBE is flagged, and the one pack in customs (headed for another addy) that is taking longer than normal, so maybe nothing is wrong at all, right?
Thanks for all of your help, and any more advice would be geratly appreciated.
