I also have an undergrad in engineering, BSEE. I just completed my MBA about a year ago and I am still looking for work. I am lucky that my wife is an MD else we would be in the poor house. Anyway, I had to commute 2+hours a day for 4 days per week for 2 1/2 years. We gave birth to my 3rd daughter half way through the program. My concentration was in Finance, Investment, & Banking. What that means is, it was a BITCH!! Sure I had to take all that fluff stuff like Marketing, Leadership, Organization, blah, blah, blah. However, come time for the real stuff, Security Analysis, Fixed Income, Advanced Statistics,Options & Futures... that separates the wheat from the chaff. Fear not because all that fucking math you had as an undergrad will help a great deal.
