Mayo Clinic finds supplements have no value

thelion2005

HRT keeps me young!
EF VIP
I read today that the Mayo Clinic found that supplements given to a control group of elderly males and females produced no health gains over the placebo control group.

"What the F*ck!" I thought and continued to read beyond the headlines. Seems Mayo gave DHEA and low dosage testosteron patches to groups of males over 60. The men reported no improvement in muscle gains, strength, sexual response and overall health.

This is not HRT and, speaking for myself, I find their testing and conclusions severly flawed. If these men had been on low dosage injected test and HGH, the vits and minerals I take, a diet high in proteins and veggies, and a well founded weight lifting routine with recovery, they'd have packed on some solid beef and be getting laid.

And what if Mayo had put these guys on a number of cycles over a years time? I'd bet all these men would have made huge improvements over their beginning condition.

Makes me wonder if there is some self-serving agenda here to keep seniors weak and ill, and to get them dead quickly.
