Maximum protein intake in one sitting

I bought a 5lb jug of optimum nutrition 100% whey protein.

One serving = ~100 calories and 23g of proteins

I always take my shakes with 0.5L of skim milk @ 8,8g of proteins per 0,25L

it all adds up to 23g + 17,6g = 40,6.


Will one scoop be enough for my protein needs?
 
I would personally go for one and a half or two because milk has a pretty low biological value. Its about 70 whereas whey protein is about 100.

When you think about it, it makes sense. The body can probably absorb 40g of protein in one sitting but when a high percentage of that 40g is slow-absorbed casein protein, that means your body only absorbs a percentage of the 40g(the isolate...etc).
