Caffeine tends to allow you to be able to lift more weight, so I take some (usually with ephedra) to help with heavy lifts. But what is the max caffeine one can take at a time? I usually thought about 400mg (4 cups of coffee or two vivarin or no-doz), but heard of someone intercepting 1500mg units headed to the US cycling team. That's like 15 cups of coffee! On a side note, those were suppositories, but I was thinking those were actual faster acting than oral tablets.
