Maxigan Question

A buddy of mine recently gave me what he had left of a 50ml vile of Maxigan (a little more than half is left). I just have a few questions about it that maybe someone can answer.

1. Whats the best way to make sure its sterile?
2. It expired in Dec of 2000 (thats why he gave it to me) ...should it still be safe to inject?
3. Its been sitting in the back of a cabinet since 1999, but it has a ring inside the bottle where the oil level had been for so long....is this bad?
4. When did they start using the holograms on Maxigan vials?

if i were you ,you are better off not using it and getting new gear.
there is a very good chance that it is unstere and why take the chance.

Im thinking about chunking it in the trash.....i have some sust that im about to start, just thought it would be a nice stack if it was still ok to shoot.

I posted a similar Q and asked a P.H.D on expiration dates....both said u loose 10% potentcy per year. SO if it wasnt in extreme temps that should stay true is what if understood.

One more question.....isnt maxigan really diluted anyway? My friend quit usin the stuff because he got an abcess. He told me he had to use "volumous" injections.

I wouldnt call it diluted...just low mg. per ml. concentrations, meaning more oil in the body to get the mg's up to par.
