ok peeps ,i have several individuals thats have told me differnt ideas on what mhr your cardio work out should be ? what is proper and right as far as doing cardio for fat burning ? need some advice here guys and gals

High Intensity interval Training... you basically do a much shorter workout, say, 20 mins... and move between lower intensity and VERY high intensity cycles (short cycles, about 1 min each, though it varies)... during the high-intensity you will normally go beyond 90% ... you use the lower intensity cycles to catch your breath.
and nope, no canibalizing at all if you time your meals correctly. Then again, if you do it on an empty stomach you are raising your risk somewhat.
